About the GF Instruments CMD Mini-Explorer
The CMD Mini-Explorer carries three receiver coils giving simultaneous full depth ranges of roughly 0.5 m, 1.0 m, and 1.8 m, with excellent receiver temperature stability that supports high-resolution depth-graded mapping while walking or towing the probe.
It targets very shallow layered-structure investigation — agriculture (soil mapping, drainage), forestry, archaeology, and road/pavement inspection — where the deeper CMD Explorer's range is more than needed.
