About the GF Instruments CMD Explorer
The CMD Explorer gives simultaneous full depth ranges of roughly 2.2 m, 4.2 m, and 6.7 m from its three receiver coils, using the same contactless, fast measurement approach as the Mini-Explorer but reaching considerably deeper into the ground.
It is designed for investigating layered structures in geological, geotechnical, and mineral-prospecting tasks where depths beyond the Mini-Explorer's shallow range are needed.
