About the GF Instruments CMD-4
The CMD-4 is a simpler, single-configuration instrument in the CMD range, providing simultaneous readings at 3.0 m and 6.0 m depth ranges rather than the three-depth output of the Explorer models — a more focused tool for surveys where those two specific depths are the target of interest.
It offers the same contactless electromagnetic conductivity measurement principle as the rest of the CMD line, at a simpler configuration for surveys that don't need the full multi-depth Explorer output.
