About the GF Instruments CMD-1
The CMD-1 is the simplest instrument in the CMD family, providing a single fixed depth-range conductivity reading rather than the multi-depth output of the Explorer and CMD-4 models — a lower-cost option where only one representative depth is required.
It retains the same contactless electromagnetic induction measurement principle as the rest of the range, suited to straightforward conductivity mapping tasks without the need for multi-depth sounding.
