About the GF Instruments CMD-2
The CMD-2 provides two simultaneous depth-range conductivity readings, a step up from the single-depth CMD-1 while remaining simpler and more focused than the three-depth Explorer models.
It uses the same contactless electromagnetic induction measurement approach as the rest of the CMD range, suited to surveys needing a second depth reading without the full multi-depth Explorer configuration.
