Crone Geophysics PEM Receiver
Digital receiver component of the Crone PEM system, recording the decaying secondary field from subsurface conductors.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the Crone Geophysics PEM Receiver
The PEM receiver captures the decaying secondary electromagnetic field induced by the paired transmitter's primary pulse, using full-waveform digital measurement to characterize subsurface conductor response over time. Crone's PEM line was noted for pioneering fully digital time-domain EM receiver technology in ground and borehole mineral exploration.
It is used in tandem with the PEM transmitter for surface mineral exploration surveys, and shares core technology with Crone's borehole PEM probe for downhole conductor detection.
