About the Crone Geophysics Borehole PEM Probe
Crone has developed 3D time-domain EM borehole survey capability with what has been described as the smallest-diameter TDEM probes on the market, letting exploration geologists detect and characterize conductive mineralization from within a drill hole rather than only from the surface.
Borehole PEM surveys extend the reach of a single drill hole, detecting off-hole conductors that a surface survey alone might miss or that ground conditions prevent surveying directly above — a valuable tool in brownfields and deep mineral exploration programmes.
