About the AGI SuperSting R8
The SuperSting R8 is Advanced Geosciences Inc.'s flagship resistivity system: an 8-channel receiver that reads up to eight potential differences simultaneously for every current injection, making it roughly eight times faster than the single-channel R1 for the same electrode array. Used with AGI's Swift multi-electrode switching cables and switch-box grids, it can scale from a basic 28-electrode spread up to 112 electrodes and beyond.
It supports resistivity, time-domain induced polarization, and self-potential measurement in one instrument, and pairs with AGI's EarthImager 2D/3D software for inversion and imaging. It's the standard workhorse for groundwater, geotechnical, environmental, and mineral-exploration ERT surveys.
