About the AGI SuperSting R8 Marine System
The SuperSting R8 Marine System pairs the standard 8-channel SuperSting R8 with AGI's marine modules — floating or towed electrode streamers, a Continuous Resistivity Profiler (CRP) module, guided-navigation, and marine log management software — for resistivity surveys conducted from a boat.
It's used for riverbed and lakebed sediment characterization, levee and dam seepage investigation from the water side, and bridge-scour or underwater infrastructure studies where land-based electrode placement isn't possible.
