About the ABEM (Guideline Geo) Terrameter LS 2
Terrameter LS 2 combines a transmitter, multichannel receiver and built-in electrode switching in one field unit, measuring resistivity, time-domain IP (with full-waveform recording) and SP. Multichannel acquisition lets it record several potential readings per current injection, which shortens long ERT profiles and 3D grids considerably compared with single-channel meters.
It works with ABEM multi-electrode cable systems and is a common choice for groundwater exploration, landfill and contamination mapping, dam and dike investigation, and geotechnical site characterisation. LS 2 succeeded the original Terrameter LS.
