Marine Magnetics SeaSPY2 Longitudinal Gradiometer
A dual-sensor longitudinal gradiometer configuration of the SeaSPY2 platform, towed to measure the magnetic gradient along the survey line for improved shallow-target resolution.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the Marine Magnetics SeaSPY2 Longitudinal Gradiometer
The SeaSPY2 Longitudinal Gradiometer pairs two SeaSPY2 Overhauser sensors along the tow line to measure the magnetic gradient rather than the absolute field, improving discrimination of shallow, localized ferrous targets over standard single-sensor total-field survey.
This configuration is favoured for offshore UXO surveys and precision cable/pipeline route clearance where target discrimination in a noisy or cluttered magnetic environment is critical.
