GEM Systems GSM-19 Overhauser Gradiometer
A dual-sensor walking configuration of the GSM-19 Overhauser platform, measuring the vertical magnetic gradient for shallow-target survey without a stationary base station.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the GEM Systems GSM-19 Overhauser Gradiometer
Configured with two Overhauser sensors at a fixed vertical separation, the GSM-19 gradiometer setup measures the spatial gradient of the magnetic field rather than its absolute value — largely cancelling diurnal variation in real time and sharpening response to shallow, localized targets.
This configuration is the standard choice for UXO screening and archaeological prospection, where a base station is impractical and shallow-target resolution matters more than absolute field measurement.
