About the ALT (Advanced Logic Technology) OBI40
As the bottom sub of ALT's Quick Link (QL40) product line, the OBI40/QL40-OBI can run as part of a multi-tool string or as a standalone imaging tool, giving flexibility for combined logging programs.
A high-precision deviation sensor built into the tool records image and borehole orientation simultaneously with the optical picture, so the resulting log is directly oriented to true north.
