Robertson Geologging Hi-OPTV
The High Resolution Optical Televiewer captures a true-color, 360° optical image of the borehole wall — the visual counterpart to acoustic imaging, for wells with clear fluid or air.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the Robertson Geologging Hi-OPTV
Optical televiewer imagery shows lithology, bedding, and fracture surfaces in natural color, which is often easier to interpret directly than an acoustic amplitude image, provided the borehole fluid is clear (or the hole is dry/air-filled).
Hi-OPTV logs are frequently run alongside the HRAT acoustic televiewer, giving both an optical and acoustic image of the same interval for cross-validation.
