Mount Sopris Instruments QL40-GR
A natural gamma-ray probe from Mount Sopris' modular Quick Link (QL40) series, measuring naturally occurring gamma radiation from potassium, uranium, and thorium-bearing minerals in the surrounding formation.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the Mount Sopris Instruments QL40-GR
The QL40-GR is one of the most widely deployed tools in groundwater, environmental, and mineral exploration logging — it works in both open and cased boreholes and requires no radioactive source of its own, making it simple to handle and permit for field use.
As a Quick Link (QL40) probe, it can be run alone on a single-conductor cable or stacked with other QL40 tools (caliper, resistivity, neutron) in a single tool string to reduce the number of trips down a well.
