About the ABEM (Guideline Geo) Terrameter SAS 1000
The SAS 1000 shares the measurement design of the SAS 4000 but records one channel at a time. It is widely used for vertical electrical soundings (VES) and profiling in groundwater exploration and borehole siting, and can drive multi-electrode surveys through the LUND Imaging System at lower throughput than four-channel units.
It remains a common instrument with groundwater drilling programmes and teaching institutions thanks to its simplicity and durability.
