About the Mitutoyo Quick Vision Active
The Quick Vision Active is the entry point into Mitutoyo's QV family of CNC vision measuring machines. It uses a motorized zoom camera and programmable ring illumination to capture part edges without contact, then computes dimensions, angles, and geometric tolerances from the captured image data — ideal for thin, soft, or delicate parts that a touch probe could deform.
An optional touch-trigger probe can be added for features that vision alone can't reach reliably, such as tall walls or hidden bores, giving shops a single machine that covers most day-to-day 2D/3D inspection needs without stepping up to a full multisensor system.
