About the Keyence IM-6000
The IM-6000 pioneered Keyence's one-shot image measurement concept: a part placed anywhere within the unit's field of view is automatically located, identified, and measured using Pattern Registration and an Intelligent Pattern Analysis Search System (PASS), without the manual alignment required by traditional vision systems or optical comparators.
Keyence has since replaced the IM-6000 with the current IM-6225/IM-7000/IM-8000 generation, which extends the same one-shot measurement concept to larger fields of view and higher resolution. IM-6000 units are no longer sold new but remain functional and are sourced through the refurbished and surplus equipment market.
