About the Baty SM350
Unlike Baty's horizontal comparators, the SM350 projects downward through a vertical lens axis onto a flat stage, so a thin or flexible part can simply be laid flat rather than mounted in a fixture — a significant advantage for gaskets, laser-cut sheet metal, and molded plastic components.
As with the rest of the Baty range, the SM350 uses an interchangeable lens turret and can be fitted with a digital readout for dimensional measurement rather than pure visual overlay comparison.
