About the Baty R400
The Baty R400 projects a magnified silhouette of a part onto a large 400mm glass screen with an interchangeable protractor overlay, letting an operator directly compare a part's profile against a reference drawing or chart. It is built by Baty International (part of Bowers Group, UK), a long-established British maker of optical comparators and profile projectors.
Optional electronic 2-axis measuring systems, internally fitted automatic edge sensors, and a dedicated cabinet stand can be added, turning a purely visual comparator into a semi-digital measuring station suitable for shop-floor 2D inspection of turned, stamped, and molded parts.
