Scintrex (EDA) Omni Plus
A combined proton precession magnetometer and VLF-EM receiver originally developed by EDA Instruments, whose earth-science product line was absorbed into Scintrex — one of the earlier instruments to pair magnetic and VLF survey in a single field unit.
This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer. PartnerGeometrics sources it through the used and refurbished market — available as Refurbished, Absolute Certified, or Surplus only.

About the Scintrex (EDA) Omni Plus
The Omni Plus (also seen in the field as the Omni IV) was originally an EDA Instruments product; EDA's earth-science instrument line was merged into Scintrex in the early 1990s, and units are commonly marketed and serviced today under the Scintrex name. It combines a proton precession magnetometer with a built-in VLF (very low frequency) electromagnetic receiver, letting a single field unit run both magnetic total-field and VLF-EM survey lines — a configuration Scintrex later carried forward into instruments such as the ENVI-GRAD/VLF.
A gradiometer-equipped variant was also produced. Decades after manufacture ended, Omni Plus/Omni IV units continue to circulate on the used geophysical equipment market and remain serviceable for reconnaissance-scale magnetic and VLF-EM survey work. PartnerGeometrics sources working units through that same used-equipment channel.
