GEODEVICE SmartQuantumMag
A cesium vapor base-station magnetometer used to continuously log the ambient diurnal magnetic field, so roving survey data can be corrected against a fixed reference during post-processing.

About the GEODEVICE SmartQuantumMag
SmartQuantumMag is GEODEVICE's cesium-sensor base station magnetometer, designed to sit stationary at a survey site and continuously log the total magnetic field so that diurnal variation and short-term magnetic storms can be subtracted from roving sensor data (walking, vehicle, or drone-collected) during post-processing.
Cesium sensitivity gives a base station finer resolution of short-period variation than a proton-precession base station would provide, which matters most on high-resolution surveys where subtle diurnal correction accuracy affects the final anomaly map.
