GEM Systems GSM-19 Base Station Magnetometer
A stationary configuration of the GSM-19 platform used to continuously log diurnal magnetic variation for correcting simultaneous roving-sensor survey data.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the GEM Systems GSM-19 Base Station Magnetometer
Deployed as a fixed-position reference, the GSM-19 base station configuration continuously logs the ambient magnetic field so that diurnal variation can be subtracted from data collected by a roving total-field sensor elsewhere on the same survey — standard practice for single-sensor total-field surveys.
Because it shares its core electronics and sensor technology with the roving GSM-19T/GSM-19 units, base-station and roving instruments from the same platform can be mixed and matched on a single project.
