The gPhoneX is designed as a stationary monitoring instrument rather than a survey-grid meter — its Zero-Length Spring sensor provides microGal repeatability with very low static drift over long deployments, suited to volcano monitoring, hydrological gravity change studies, and other continuous time-series applications.
