Scintrex CG-6 Autograv
Next-generation land relative gravimeter with fused-quartz sensor technology, an intuitive touchscreen interface, and all-weather ruggedized housing.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the Scintrex CG-6 Autograv
The CG-6 Autograv is Scintrex's current-generation relative gravity meter, built around the same fused-quartz spring sensor lineage as its predecessor but with meaningfully lower instrumental drift and noise floor. It is rated for all-weather field operation, dustproof and water-resistant, and pairs a modern touchscreen interface with automated tilt and temperature compensation.
Note: 'relative gravimeter' means the CG-6 measures differences in gravity between survey stations rather than an absolute value — distinct from an 'absolute gravimeter' like the FG5-X below. This is also unrelated to this site's 'Absolute Certified' condition tier, which describes a certification/quality level, not instrument physics.
