About the Taylor Hobson Surtronic 3+
The Surtronic 3+ is a portable surface roughness gauge from Taylor Hobson's earlier Surtronic range, used for quick Ra/Rz shop-floor checks ahead of the current Surtronic Duo and S-100 series instruments.
As a discontinued model it is available today only through the used and refurbished equipment market — a straightforward, low-cost way to add a working portable roughness checker to a shop floor or QC department.
