Robertson Geologging PS Logger
A suspension P-S velocity logging system that measures in-situ compressional and shear wave velocities directly in an uncased borehole, a key input for geotechnical seismic design.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the Robertson Geologging PS Logger
The suspension method excites and records both P-waves and S-waves without requiring a cased hole or receiver contact with the borehole wall, giving direct in-situ velocity profiles used to compute shear-modulus and site seismic-response parameters such as Vs30.
This data is widely used in geotechnical engineering and earthquake site-response studies where accurate shear-wave velocity profiles are a code requirement.
