Geomatrix Earth Science HFP-2375
A heat-pulse flowmeter that measures low-rate water movement in open boreholes, used to identify transmissive zones and hydrostratigraphic units.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the Geomatrix Earth Science HFP-2375
The HFP-2375 resolves flow rates from about 0.11 to 3.8 lpm (0.03–1.0 gpm) with 5% accuracy at mid-range, letting hydrogeologists confirm predicted transmissive zones and determine transmissivity in open boreholes — data that is difficult to obtain any other way at these low flow rates.
At 122cm long and 5.5kg, it requires centralization equipment sized to the borehole diameter (10, 15, or 20cm) for accurate, repeatable readings.
