Geometrics StrataView Seismograph
The StrataView was Geometrics' self-contained field seismograph line preceding today's StrataVisor NZXP, combining an integrated computer, display, and printer in a single ruggedized field unit for refraction, reflection, and engineering seismic surveys.
This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer. PartnerGeometrics sources it through the used and refurbished market — available as Refurbished, Absolute Certified, or Surplus only.

About the Geometrics StrataView Seismograph
The StrataView was Geometrics' integrated field seismograph, combining a built-in acquisition computer, display, and printer with the seismic front-end in one chassis — a design philosophy Geometrics carried forward into the current StrataVisor NZXP, which its own product literature describes as effectively "the big brother to the Geode" with the same acquisition hardware plus a built-in computer.
Because the design has been superseded, PartnerGeometrics sources StrataView units exclusively through the secondhand market — decommissioned survey-company inventory, trade-ins, and lease returns. It remains a capable, economical option for engineering seismic work (refraction, MASW, shallow reflection) where a modern nodal system isn't required or budgeted.
