About the Guideline Geo (MALÅ) GX160 HDR
GX160 HDR is a 160 MHz antenna configuration within Guideline Geo's MALÅ Ground Explorer (GX) integrated GPR platform. HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology is used across the GX antenna family to improve data quality and acquisition rate compared to earlier-generation MALÅ systems.
At 160 MHz, GX160 HDR favors moderate-to-deeper penetration for geotechnical and geological survey work over the shallow, fine-resolution role played by the higher-frequency GX450 HDR.
