About the Detector Duo
The Detector Duo was a dual-frequency (250 MHz and 700 MHz) GPR system from IDS GeoRadar's earlier product catalogue, built for utility detection and mapping with a single push-cart unit carrying both antenna frequencies at once. It combined a battery life exceeding 10 hours with a scan rate of up to 100 scans per second in its original documentation.
It has since been superseded by the current Opera Duo and Opera XR platforms, but the dual-frequency concept it pioneered within the IDS range carries directly through to those current systems.
