About the Zeiss Contura G2
The Contura G2 is Zeiss's compact-class bridge CMM, built to switch easily between tactile and optical sensing on the same machine — from the VAST XXT scanning probe to 2D image sensors, chromatic white-light sensors, and triangulation lasers. Its compact TL3 probe head design frees up working volume for awkward or clustered workpieces.
It's a common choice for automotive and general manufacturing QC labs that need a workhorse CMM for routine first-article and in-process inspection without stepping up to a reference-grade machine like the Prismo.
