Legex machines are Mitutoyo's answer to Zeiss's Prismo and Hexagon's Leitz PMM-C in the ultra-high-accuracy segment — built with low-expansion materials and tight environmental control requirements to hold sub-micron measurement uncertainty.
Given its reference role, PartnerGeometrics strongly recommends the Absolute Certified tier for any used Legex, since a traceable recalibration is essential to confirming the machine still performs to its original accuracy class.
