Hexagon uses the "Absolute" name across several of its metrology product lines (including its laser trackers) to denote higher-accuracy measurement technology. The 8525 designation refers to this CMM's size/accuracy class within that family.
Note: Hexagon's "Absolute" technology branding is unrelated to PartnerGeometrics' own "Absolute Certified" condition tier — the former describes the measurement technology inside the machine, the latter describes the quality/certification level of the specific used unit we sell.
