Geovista FOG Gyro
A fiber-optic gyroscope (FOG) directional survey instrument delivering continuous, high-accuracy wellbore orientation data with no moving mechanical gyroscope parts.
New Refurbished Absolute Certified Surplus
About the Geovista FOG Gyro
Fiber-optic gyro technology offers faster survey speeds and higher long-term accuracy than older spinning-mass gyros, since there is no mechanical rotor to spin up, settle, or drift from vibration.
It is used for the same magnetic-interference-immune directional surveying tasks as Geovista's APEX Gyro, positioned as the higher-precision, continuous-survey option in the range.
