About the ALT (Advanced Logic Technology) ABI85
Geothermal logging pushes downhole electronics and sensors to their thermal limits — the ABI85 is purpose-built for that environment, delivering the same oriented acoustic borehole imaging as ALT's other ABI tools at ratings standard logging equipment cannot survive.
It is used primarily in geothermal exploration and reservoir characterization, where fracture orientation and permeability pathways are critical to well productivity.
